Airplane services, differ by the airlines. From the first class five star airlines with super comfy seat, nice meals, and entertainment, to the budget airlines (Low Cost Carrier) that only provide you cabin carriage with no free meals or snack on board.

But mostly long haul flight that takes more than 5 hour will provide you free meals on board included on your ticket. Although its free, those meal are prepared to be in a good shape, good quality and nutritious. Also, nowadays some of them are certified, some even Halal Certified.

Due higher frequency of muslim travelers, and to make them feel safe during flight the halal certification for the meal on board is very important.

MOML Logo means Moslem Meals

For Muslim whose about to fly, you can ask weather your meal has a code : MOML means "Moslem Meal". MOML code claim that those meals are safe for Muslim because it doesn't contain anything from pig or alcohol. MOML is a code that released by IATA (International Airlines Transportation Association) to make a difference for meals that provided by Muslim Friendly airlines.

On the other side, flight in and out from Middle-Eastern Country and some Asian Country applying a must halal certified for all meals for all passenger.
